Business Thank You Letter

Business thank you letters can be used for a variety of different scenarios. They can be written to employees, employers, managers, colleagues, vendors, suppliers or just about anyone involved with a business transaction, a job, special project or business-related event. These kinds of letters are important aspects of doing business.

The purpose of this sample business thank you letter is to express appreciation to a vendor who helped put on an educational event. The vendor provided an exhibit at the event, brought give away items, offered a door prize and presented an hour of education on an important topic relevant today.

Dear Ms. Yancy:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of and active participation in the recent ABC Professional Association educational event. Your company’s display was quite eye catching and informative for our members. We also appreciated the coffee mugs, mints, pads, pens and bags that you gave away at your exhibit. Without the monetary support and up-to-date education provided by our sponsors like you, we would not be able to offer our members such great value for their membership dues.

We also appreciate the iPad that your organization donated for a door prize at our closing ceremony. It was one of the most generous donations received this year and a coveted item among our membership. The door prizes are excellent incentives to keep our members around until the very end of the conference so that they do not miss out on any educational or networking opportunities. We hope that you will be able to participate in our next conference which is coming up in November. You and your staff have become an integral part of the ABC Professional Association and the education we offer to our members.

In addition, we greatly appreciate the educational session you and your staff presented on workers compensation insurance. Many of our members did not realize how much they do not know about workers compensation and how important it is to make sure their employees are adequately protected. Many of us also did not realize what a precarious position our businesses could be in if we do not have proper coverage for our employees in the event of an accident or injury. Your documentation of recent court cases involving on-the-job injuries was particularly eye opening.

Someone from our education committee will be contacting you to check your schedule and find out if you and your staff can present another educational session in the future. We are particularly interested in your proposed session on ways to save money on group health insurance. As business owners, we are always looking for ways to save money while still purchasing high quality products and services for our businesses. I hope that you will feel free to contact me any time if I can help you promote your business. As we discussed, I will be happy to display your brochures at my office.

Warm Regards,

Andrew Clark
