Unit Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties

Direct and train productive personnel to attain established production goals to maintain schedules, safety and quality objectives.

Attain employee morale on allotted shift.

Improve across velocity to accomplish on-time shipping, sales growth and WIP inventory targets.

Assist attain plant safety objectives to enhance OSHME score, incident rate plus safety risk rating.

Support plant quality goals associated to improve customer complaints, scrap reduction and manufacturing errors.

Enhance employee communications and involvement to accomplish strategic operating goals especially.

Participate on constant improvement for teams inclusive of lean or six sigma (MVP) projects and events.

Involve in master scheduling plans for entire spacecraft in process to assign resources.

Resolve conflicts and issues needs close harmonization with Spacecraft Managers plus Section.

Manage program office staff and assist organizations.

Ensure to contribute to near as well as long term manpower planning along with forecasting exercises.

Provide management and technical leadership to unit staff as required.

Report status of unit activities to section manager.

Assign plus manage unit staff for all S/C Grave shift RF test operations.

Conduct annual performance reviews.
