Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

Assist in mechanical design of laser diode pump module.

Develop fixtures to reduce touch time, repeatability and automation.

Choose and interface with vendors for low cost and high performance.

Execute mechanical design solutions for high quality electronic medical devices.

Package, design for manufacturability and develop supply chain for products.

Assess and plan approach method and sort means to achieve problems’ solution.

Analyze and test to verify new designs, methods, materials and process.

Use MCAD software and 3D modeling to develop electromechanical system designs.

Develop thermal management and environmental requirements solutions.

Offer conceptual modules using MCAD depicting construction techniques.

Exhibit creativity, functional simplicity and design excellence.

Create cost effective designs exceeding customer expectations.

Analyze, select component and offer product structure organization.

Interact with internal resources and vendors to support prototype fabrication, assembly and validation testing.

Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
