Assistant Pharmacy Manager Responsibilities and Duties

Assist Pharmacy Manager in supervising daily operations of pharmacy.

Assist in processing new and refill prescriptions for patients.

Coordinate with Manager in developing pharmacy policies and procedures.

Prepare, pack and label drugs according to the patient’s prescriptions.

Order and stock pharmacy supplies.

Maintain the inventories according to pharmacy standards.

Guide technicians and interns in their job duties.

Advise patients about correct usage and dosage of medication.

Maintain the pharmacy clean and organized.

Manage pharmacy operations in the absence of Pharmacy Manager.

Assist in the budget preparation and expense control activities.
