Aircraft Systems Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

Develop detailed solutions for technical, operational and maintenance problems.

Prepare clear and accurate system engineering documentation including operating and maintenance procedures to implement the engineering solutions.

Identify equipment, maintenance or operational improvements to enhance safety, reliability or efficiency.

Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting repairs and malfunctions.

Ensure all repairs and modifications are in compliance with company regulations and standards.

Execute projects within defined scope, timeline and cost.

Guide and supervise engineering staff in aircraft repairs/maintenance activities.

Conduct technical evaluation of new design proposals and engineering changes.

Provide technical support and guidance in aircraft operations.

Perform technical risk assessments of aircraft design and assist in the preparation of risk mitigation plans.
