I am applying for the Stockroom Assistant job now available at Solix, Inc. The enclosed resume contains a list of my work history and skills relevant to this position.

I have four years of experience working in a warehouse where I handled all of the duties related to ordering, receiving and stocking merchandise. I have experience operating a forklift, cranes, hoists, power jacks, bailers and pricing guns.

I also have experience pulling orders and matching the merchandise to the order sheets to ensure the right items are being sent to the right customers. I know how to shrink-wrap orders to the pallets to avoid the merchandise from being separated and to help protect it during transport. I also have experience loading and unloading the tractor-trailers.

I can help keep the stockroom clean and free of debris, which will also reduce the risk of accidents. I have the ability to help determine the best placement of inventory and I can help plan and control the flow of the merchandise to ensure everything runs smoothly.

I have excellent customer service skills so I can deal with customers directly, take orders and answer any questions they may have about the merchandise or deliveries. I also have experience up selling products and I always maintain a friendly, professional attitude. I am physically able to perform the duties of this position and I am flexible enough to work any hours required by your company.
