Dear Ms. Rosie Gustin,

I am very interested in the Nursing Attendant position with Continuum Health Partners.

I recently completed a nursing assistant program that has qualified me to hold this position. My knowledge includes having the ability to take vitals, check weight, test urine and monitor patients for changes. My skills also include the ability to keep accurate documents of the data gathered in addition to recording all other relevant information.

My personal skills include the ability to be observant and notice even the slightest changes that take place in a patient’s condition. It also includes having excellent communication skills with the ability to receive and convey information efficiently and to stay alert and focused on my job in all types of situations, even during emergencies. My outgoing and pleasant attitude and sympathetic nature helps to create a good environment where patients can feel safe and know they are receiving the very best of care.

I have lots of patience and a real desire to help patients dealing with illnesses or injuries that require medical care. I have the physical ability to help move patients from the bed to chairs and throughout the facility and to help them get dress, use the restroom and take baths. I also possess excellent time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the patients.

I am CPR certified and ready to get my nursing career underway. This position would be a great opportunity for me to do that and I hope that you will consider me for this job.
