Creative Music Producer Cover Letter Example

Dear Ms. Swank,

I am interested in your listing for a Music Producer that I found online and would like to submit my resume for your consideration.

I have always had a love of music and can remember learning the words to my favorite songs even as a small child. I took chorus and band in school and just knew that I wanted to have a career in this industry when I started out my adult life. As I began to learn more about music theory I found that I had a better aptitude for the production side of the industry and chose Music Theory as my major in college.

My college years were spent earning a Bachelor’s Degree and helping my friends create and produce their own music. I found a great deal of joy in seeing the final product and knowing that my skill helped these artists attain a final product that they could be proud of and share with their friends.

For the past four years I have been freelancing and have had a bit of success but find the lack of security and stability a bit daunting as I gain age and experience. I am looking for a company that I can stick with for some time and would offer a high degree of integrity and knowledge of music production.
