Here is the Experienced Diabetes Nurse Educator Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Melissa Lorenz,

I am writing to express my interest in the Diabetes Nurse Educator position at Texas Health Huguley Hospital.

After working as a certified register nurse for three years and seeing patients with diabetes, I decided to pursue a career as an educator. My goal is to help everyone learn as much about this disease as possible. I believe that if more people understood what diabetes is and how it affects the body they would do more to help reduce their risk of having the disease.

I also want to help patients suffering from the disease to understand it better. Knowing why they are a diabetic will help in the management of the disease. Patients will understand why they need to eat a certain diet and the role that medication plays in helping them keep it under control.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree and I took specialized courses in order to qualify as a diabetes educator. I have included a complete look at my education, training and work experience in the attached resume along with references from my current employer.

I hope to have the opportunity to utilize my skills to their fullest potential by helping educate your patients and staff members about diabetes and to provide resources for anyone interested in learning more. I have a real desire to educate everyone about diabetes and the knowledge and training to make a difference. I am confident that I can be a great asset to your hospital and I hope to meet with you soon.
