I am searching for a Coffee Shop position where I can put my skills and knowledge to work for a company with advancement opportunities.

I worked at Valley View Casino and Hotel for two years where my main duties included running a cash register, greeting the customers, taking orders, accepting payments and making coffee. My duties also included opening the store by prepping for the day and closing at night, which included cleaning the dining area and kitchen.

I have the ability to provide good customer service by listening to the patrons carefully to ensure they get exactly what they order. I am familiar with and know how to make a variety of different coffees and have the ability to learn new recipes quickly. My experience also includes making sandwiches, several different types of bakery items and salads.

My training includes proper food handling and storage procedures and working with different types of coffee makers, grinders and espresso machines. Keeping the dining area clean and stocked between customers was also part of my duties where I learned proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

I have good verbal skills with the ability to explain the different coffee options to the customers and the ability to work flexible shifts. I am also physically fit and able to stand for long shifts and willing to start at any position to work my way up.
