Here is the Personal Trainer Resume example:

A personal trainer works with individuals one-on-one to provide motivation and exercise instruction. These individuals may work for local gyms, but they may also secure their own individual clients. Certain skills are required to be successful in this career, and they include things such as outstanding customer service capabilities, leadership skills, the ability to listen and communicate with clients, and, of course, physical fitness.

A personal trainer resume should build upon all of your qualifications in order to make you stand out from other competitors. You will want to be sure to highlight your physical fitness and your achievements, but you’ll also need to let your skills shine. Below, you will find three personal trainer resume format options that you can use based on where you are in your career, from entry-level to experienced professional.

Entry Level Resume

In many cases, you will not need any secondary education beyond a high school diploma in order to get an entry-level position as a physical trainer. Some gym franchises may prefer an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a health or fitness field, however. In the entry-level physical trainer resume example shown below, Olivia Trump focuses on her education and her physical achievements in high school since she does not have any work experience.
