Sample Nursing Student Resume

Posted in Nurse Resume Samples

There are many different levels of education that a nursing student can obtain, starting with the standard LPN (licensed practical nurse) distinction and ending with nurse practitioner. While the career options are virtually endless, some skills that are required in order to be successful as a nurse include critical thinking, emotional stability, compassion, physical fitness, and outstanding communication skills.

The focus of your nursing student resume should vary based upon the amount of education and experience that you have. There are three nursing student resume format options listed below with each one providing a glimpse into different levels of education and experience.

Entry Level Resume

An LPN is considered an entry level nurse, and this requires about one year of education after high school. These individuals often obtain certificates rather than degrees, and they are often employed in hospitals and nursing homes.
