Dear Mr. Coleson,
As you know, I was placed on probation on January 5, 2013 due to work performance issues. I was informed that if I completed the requirements of my probation I would be returned to my regular employment status. As of today, March 1, 2013 I am proud to report that I have completed the requirements of my probation and I respectfully request a review for the early termination of my probationary period.
On January 10, 2013, I enrolled in the Effective Communications for Organizations course offered by the human resource department. I earned my certificate for this class on February 5, 2013. I completed the Teamwork Success Training, as mandated by the probation requirements, on February 15, 2013. On February 25, 2013, I received my certification as an expert in Microsoft Office.
I realize I was placed on probation for 6 months. However, I believe I have earned the right to have my case reevaluated. Last month I was invited to become a member of the Knowledge Fault Team, which is responsible for reorganizing company intelligence. I have worked very hard to become a productive member of this team and have received praise from the team leader for my work ethic and my pro-team attitude.
At your convenience, I would like to schedule an in-person meeting where we may discuss the matter further. I have already spoken with my manager, Mr. Grayson, about my possible early release from probation. Mr. Grayson told me that he is in favor of early probation termination and he is willing to submit a letter stating this at your request.
I hope to hear from you soon. You may contact me at work or on my private cell phone at 723-867-4977.
