Trust Officer Responsibilities and Duties

Review and approve initial account reviews.

Develop, analyze and approve annual account estate, trust, agency and ILIT accounts reviews.

Manage banking regulations knowledge for complying with Trust Department.

Finish mandatory compliance training.

Coordinate with internal auditors and Office of Thrift Supervision.

Handle knowledge of Trust Department and FCB policies and procedures.

Function as member of Trust Administration Committees.

Act as Trust Department management team member.

Function as First Command Bank supervisory team member.

Handle non-legal reviews of trust documents for new business acceptance.

Agree on new business on Trust Department and First Command Bank’s behalf.

Ensure FCB and FCFP trust products knowledge coordinating with Trust Department Manager.

Ensure regular contact over phone or email with current clients.

Develop annual accountings for court-appointed trusts.

Supervise opening and closing of trust department accounts.
