RF Engineering Manager Responsibilities and Duties

Supervise a team of Engineers in design and development of RF circuit systems.

Understand customer specifications and accordingly design most effective RF circuits.

Optimize existing systems to improve performance and capacity.

Assist in budget preparation and expense control activities.

Ensure Engineers follow design guidelines and procedures.

Ensure to complete the assigned design projects within allotted budget and timelines.

Allocate workload to team members and provide assistance to them when needed.

Monitor and report project progress to customers on regular basis.

Oversee system installation, maintenance and testing activities.

Perform root cause analysis of technical problems and provide corrective actions.

Identify areas of improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs.

Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining system quality and productivity.

Handle emergency situations promptly and make escalations to respective teams as needed.

Stay abreast with latest developments in RF engineering techniques and technologies.
