Residence Hall Director Responsibilities and Duties

Supervise and provide required training to all assistant hall directors and student staff and assist all students and staff members from transition from high school to college and manage all hall activities.

Evaluate all resident assistant performance on regular basis and oversee residence hall for students with at least 50 to 60 students and resolve all conflicts and assist students with any personal issues as well.

Administer everyday activities of residence hall student programs and activities and coordinate with individuals and group of students for all referrals and participate in all department and staff meetings and manage all development sessions.

Develop and organize individual meetings in coordination with assistant staff on weekly basis and participate in all training programs and execute all residence hall activities and assist to resolve all issues and ensure compliance to all residence hall rules and regulations.

Monitor all activities of over 300 students and coordinate with various facility services and maintain knowledge on all building codes and maintain knowledge on all residence life program and submit all require repair requests and participate in reduction programs.

Prepare all hall condition reports and manage all maintenance requests and ensure efficient upkeep of all resident facilities such as hall and prepare all program budget according to policies and procedures.
