Project Electrical Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

Provide technical support in design and development of electrical systems.

Maintain electrical systems including hardware and software systems.

Coordinate with Technicians and Engineers in planning and executing assigned technical projects.

Analyze and resolve design problems in a timely manner.

Prioritize and coordinate project activities for timely completions.

Review and recommend improvements to system designs to improve performance and reliability.

Design substations and route transmission lines as needed.

Work with Manager in developing project plan, budget and schedules.

Assist Manager in cost control, document control and quality control activities.

Adhere to company policies and design standards.

Oversee the commissioning and testing of electrical systems.

Prepare electrical plans, technical specifications, line diagrams and other project documentations for management review.

Provide technical assistance and conduct job trainings to team members when required.

Track project status regularly and ensure to execute projects within allotted budget and timelines.

Assess potential risks and technical challenges and accordingly develop corrective action plans.
