Proofread, edit and format manuscripts according to established guidelines.
Develop workflow and schedule to meet deadlines.
Develop positive working relationship with Authors, Designers and Production staff.
Notify other teams about any changes in workflow and schedule.
Act as back-up for co-workers as needed.
Review work of Proofreaders and Editors for quality, correctness and consistency.
Work with Manager to finalize the documents for production.
Attend team meeting to discuss about project status and ongoing problems.
Recommend process improvements to ensure production accuracy and quality.
Ensure that deliverables meets quality standards and project specifications.
Ensure to complete the assigned project within allotted timelines and budget.
Follow company procedures for document filing and archiving.
Review manuscripts before printing or releasing.
Work with Manager to develop and maintain overall budget.
Provide administration assistance to editorial board when needed.
