Principal Auditor Responsibilities and Duties

Work with audit teams to plan, prioritize and perform audit works to ensure timely completions.

Interview Managers, Users and other department staffs to obtain information required for audits.

Prepare audit reports as per departmental standards.

Document audit results and recommendations and deliver to management.

Evaluate company risks management and governance processes and recommend improvements.

Provide job assistance to other Auditors when required.

Coordinate with General Auditor in reviewing and revising audit programs.

Develop audit plans and prepare audit presentations for assigned projects.

Discuss with management about audit findings and recommendations.

Ensure that management clearly understands and implements audit recommendations.

Evaluate performance of other Auditors and provide feedback for improvements.

Assist in development and revision of audit policies and procedures.

Resolve audit issues and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for analysis.

Oversee issues tracking, resolution and closing activities.

Build positive and professional working relationships with business teams.
