Media Buyer Responsibilities and Duties

Plan, arrange, execute and control routine media buy process.

Develop sound media buys to facilitate increase in sales and traffic for customers and negotiate best rates along with added value.

Perform with account services teams on competitive, marketplace conditions, promotional opportunities, media opportunities and billing.

Perform with account service and planning teams in different respects such as marketplace.

Evaluate time with assistant plus move stations spots accordingly.

Perform with customers and internal team to resolve issues and problems.

Negotiate with stations along with develop and maintain strong professional relationships.

Identify innovative methods of media buying and planning.

Review and evaluate all media buying invoices.

Assign suitable workload to Media Assistant by Media Supervisor approval.

Respond to multi-line telephones and ensure to greet customers suitably.

Ensure to handle invoicing and file plus sort as directed.

Assist sales through developing job orders for production and order entry after proposals are approved.

Perform closely with production department to assure customer expectations are attained.

Upgrade on sales for order changes as well as job status.
