Lab Assistant Responsibilities and Duties

Assist in buffers mixing required for processing patient specimens in lab.

Coordinate placing orders for inventory supplies needed in lab.

Involve in experiments delivery and needed supplies.

Provide delivery of package and label solutions.

Maintain and manage cage washroom.

Ensure sanitation of washroom area, cages and equipments.

Head responsibility of equipment and feed storage areas maintenance.

Update routine records of cage sanitation and wash chemical supply usage.

Report cage equipments and chemical requirements to supervisor.

Supervise stocked chemicals for right storage.

Lead and direct general housekeeping of lab.

Prepare chemical waste, disposal forms, reagents and experiments solutions.

Ensure to dispose outdated components appropriately.

Ensure to return recycle chemicals from labs.

Head responsibility for collecting patient specimens required for processing in lab.
