Facilities Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties

Monitor and manage design, acquisition and installation of modular furniture for offices, classrooms and common areas.

Oversee, plan and coordinate activities of custodial, maintenance and related assigned personnel.

Develop and execute guidelines for furnishings campus wide.

Manage furniture inventory for new purchases, maintenance and repair of existing furniture.

Develop project estimates for customers, provide cost, schedule and scope information for customer review and approval.

Prepare monthly occupancy status report to management.

Maintain and manage physical asset and storage site inventory.

Coordinate and monitor vendor’s performance through performing building related services.

Assist management to develop and evaluate plans for facilities executed by vendors.

Inspect entire buildings to identify general corrective maintenance as necessary for proper maintenance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc.

Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to management.

Ensure to maintain and continue operation of mechanical systems like HVAC systems, boiler, fans, generators, electrical switch gear and UPS systems.

Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair programs on all building mechanical infrastructures.

Update and maintain records to track maintenance and repairs.

Direct and manage any facilities emergencies if any.
