I have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a current RN license and I have acquired my CWCN certification. My experience also includes cleaning the wound to remove bacteria, dead tissues and other containments to prevent infection from occurring. Once the wound is clean, my training includes dressing it to keep the germs out and to help it heal faster.

I have the communicate skills to confer with the treatment team and the patient’s physician in order to determine a treatment plan and to arrange follow up care. I also have the medical skills to determine if surgery or therapy is needed and to determine what medication the patient needs to aid the healing process and for pain relief.

I have an excellent bedside manner with the ability to explain to the patients and their families how serious the wound is and how they need to care for it during the healing process. I possess the ability to keep accurate patient records that document all details of the visit and treatment plan.
