Dear Mr. Barrett,

I’m just the person you’re seeking for the sports director position because I have the skills and desire to make great contributions to Wilson High School .My love of sports has been an inspiration as I earned my bachelor’s degree in health and fitness and as I continue to work on my master’s in athletic administration.

Some of the experiences I’ve acquired throughout the years are listed below. I have experience:

•Coordinating plays
•Picking out the highlights of games
•Performing a variety of clerical duties such as making schedules and keeping records of events
•Attending staff meetings
•Assisting with promotional programs
•Handling the media coverage needed to keep the public aware of events by using radio, television and so forth

I have over three years of experience working as a sports director assistant where I learned excellent leadership skills. I’m a good communicator with a strong voice and a love for the sport.

I believe that a meeting in which to discuss my past training and the unique contributions I can make to Wilson High School if considered for the job would be beneficial to us both. Please call me at (222)-490-4115, or send an email to [email] to set up an interview.
