Dear Mr. Walters,
I write in response to your open position for an experienced Phlebotomist, I submit my resume in the enclosed attachment for your review.
For a quick review of my qualifications and career talents, please read on. I graduated from Georgetown College in June of 2007; and have since worked at one of the area’s leading laboratory companies; Lab Service Excellence. Throughout my education and hands on professional position; I have gained ample experience in medical care, patient care, and all topics involved with Phlebotomy. More specifically, I have been responsible for daily maintenance of patient care, as well as comprehensive long term service; and can conduct EKGs and telemetry as well as routine vital assessments and related medical tasks. Also important to note is the level of compassion and humanity I bring to all of my patients-as it is my primary objective to help as many people as I can with the specialty that I provide them-in a dedicated and professional manner.
In my time at school and in my current hospital, I have earned a name for excellence in Phlebotomy-which can be expanded upon through contact of my supervisors and colleagues-as offered in my resume. I am known for my extremely hard work, dedication, and comprehensive care that I administer to my patients with accuracy, experience, and compassion. I treat my patients with the same level of care that I would expect for myself. I seek to bring this high standard of excellence to a hospital I have always respected for its efforts, Georgetown Hospital.
I would be very happy to forward any more documents or references you may require, and ask that you contact me with any questions you may have. Moreover, I am very excited about speaking with you further regarding the expectations and role of this open Phlebotomist position.
Thanks for taking the time to consider my application.
