Dear Ms. Shine,

Upon seeing the NICU Nurse position available at Rady Children’s Hospital, I began putting my resume together right away. I welcome the opportunity to work for such a well-established facility such as yours.

I have a master’s degree in nursing and I am state licensed to work in this area. I am also CPR certified. I have five years of hands on experience providing care for babies that are born prematurely and for those born with a medical condition that requires around the clock monitoring.

I have experience taking the vital signs of newborns and providing them with the nutrients they need to survive and grow stronger. My experience also includes administering medication to newborns and following the doctor’s orders to the letter to ensure the babies are receiving the treatment and care they need.

I always keep a watchful eye out to ensure these babies are breathing properly and responding to the treatment being given. In the event there is a problem, I can follow hospital procedures and call the appropriate physician immediately.

My skills include the ability to keep excellent records on the care provided to these newborns and to ensure the records are updated correctly so there is no room for errors. I have great interpersonal skills that make it easy to work with a team to take care of premature or sick newborns in an efficient manner to ensure they get the very best care.

You can reach me for an interview by calling (222)-773-2995. I hope to meet with you soon.

Respectfully,

Signature
