Dear Ms. Decker,

I would like to apply for your Medical Laboratory Assistant job opening that I found listed in the classified ads section of Mailtoday.com.

While I do not have a great deal of experience, I have completed a Clinical Laboratory course and am licensed. I am looking for an intermediate job to jump start my career and want to start with a company that allows for room to grow. I see that your company has been in operation for some time which is why I chose to send you my resume.

I know that most companies require at least two years experience but I feel that my license and willingness to work hard would make up for that lack. I also understand this career choice is not without its dangers. Working with blood borne diseases can be dangerous but I know how to protect myself through my course work. I am a great communicator and can communicate both verbally and in writing effectively.

If you can see past my lack of practical experience, I would love to sit down and speak with you about becoming a part of your team. I am not currently employed and can be available to start working at any time. I am also available to work any hours that you deem appropriate whether it is part time or full and can also be ready for any shift.

Please feel free to contact me (123)-833-7065 at any time to discuss my future with your company. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Clayton Greene
