Here is the Proficient Library Manager Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Miriam Doering,

I am applying for the library manager position that was recently listed by your facility New Orleans Public Library and would like to submit my resume for your consideration.

I have a master’s degree in library science and have worked in a library for nearly ten years with four in a management capacity. With my education and experience, I feel that I would be the perfect candidate for this position and your facility would benefit. Some of my experience taught me about supervising employees and any branch along with managing the supervisors at all branches. This includes proving scheduling work hour to make sure that all public areas have coverage.

My interpersonal skills are quite high and this enables me to interview potential employees along with evaluating, counseling and disciplining any current employees as needed. There is also a need to approve leave and vacation time along with providing any extra training that may be required. These skills also play a part when dealing with customer complaints or aiding customers who are searching for certain materials.

There is no problem with me performing the more difficult or complex professional work that is required in any library such as developing and maintain all library materials and collections. This includes performing administrative duties, writing reports and performing statistical analyses. I am also able to provide reference and Reader’s Advisory service to the public.

If you would like to set up a time for an interview, I am available at your convenience and can be reached by calling (555)-555-5555.

Respectfully,

Henry Hansen
