Ms. Barbara Howard
ARCH Language Network
240 Dawson Drive
Fairfield Bay, AR 72088

Dear Ms. Howard,

I’m writing this letter to announce that I’m the person you’re seeking at ARCH Language Network to fill the language interpreter position. I have many of the qualifications and training needed to fill this position and to be an asset to your company. I speak Spanish and English fluently but filling this position requires much more than knowing two languages.

I also possess the ability to read, write and use “sign language” to translate one language to the other without hesitation. My active listening abilities and speaking skills make it easy to communicate and interpret languages even in difficult or stressful situations. I make it a point to follow ethical codes for confidentiality of all information being translated as well.

I know the meaning and spelling of words, proper grammar, pronunciation and the composition of words that ensures proper interpretation. My experience also includes talking with the authors of documents to ensure an accurate translation is being made, resolving conflicts surrounding the meaning of certain words and the flexibility to travel and work in a variety of settings.

These are the qualities that I believe make me a great candidate for this position. I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss the job and what I have to offer if considered for this position in more detail. I can be reached by phone at (111)-453-7077, or email at [email]

Sincerely,

Signature

Jan Hammond
