I have a Master of Science in Environmental Science degree from Western Carolina University and I completed an internship and worked as an assistant environmentalist for two years to gain hands on experience in this field. My studies included chemistry, geology, geophysics, hydrogeology and environmental management and my field experience includes collecting samples and gathering important data.

I also have some lab experience that includes conducting tests on the samples collected. I am familiar with the chemicals and tools used in testing such as ph meters, autoclaves, microscopes, centrifuge spectrophotometers and analytical instrumentation. I have excellent computer skills and experience conducting extensive research and working with large amounts of data.

I have excellent writing skills with the ability to create technical reports, charts and programs and to implement directives that will help reduce the impact your company has on the environment. I also have the knowledge to make recommendations for short and long-term environmental plans that will ensure your company or organization meets state and federal requirements.

Through my training, I have developed strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills along with the ability to conduct research, pay close attention to detail and to spot potential problems that need corrected. I stay updated with all new information and technologies concerning the environment and would appreciate an opportunity to discuss any open position you have pertaining to this industry in person.
