Dear Ms. Kelly Rose,

I am interested in a Developmental Psychologist position that was recently vacated at Rady Children’s Hospital.

I completed a master’s degree program in developmental psychology and have worked children, adolescents as well as their families to develop counseling skills using practical experience. I am an expert in cognitive behaviors of children along with behavior and development. While this field of study has expanded to include all age groups, I have based my specialty in childhood development.

I have worked closely with children who have suffered from psychological issues and I am concerned with all developments of their minds including their moral reasoning and social behavior. I am also fascinated with the concept of nature versus nurture and have conducted many studies based on this. Before a psychological diagnosis can be given, it is vital to understand whether the issues are from the patient’s surroundings or if the issue is something medical that they were born with. This is the basic tenet of nature versus nurture.

I am highly organized and professional and always treat my patients and their families with the respect they deserve. I do not have a problem visiting patients that may not be able to come to the facility in order to offer them the care that they need. I can handle a large case load with no problem and can coordinate all patients so they get my full attention during their time with me.

I would appreciate it if you would give me a call to set up a time to meet to discuss your exact needs in a developmental psychologist. My phone number is (111)-493-6542.
