Dear Ms. Holland,

I am writing in regards to the Boom Operator position now available with On-Ride Entertainment, LLC. and I have the qualifications you are searching for in an applicant.

I have five years of experience working for a company in which this was my main duty. I know everything there is to know about this job including the limitations of the boom. I have experience following the action around while maintaining the best sound quality and I understand the importance of keeping the boom high out of sight of the cameras.

I am physically fit and able to lift and carry the equipment to different locations and to set up the equipment. I have the ability to stand for long periods while handling the boom and I do not have a problem working outside even when the weather is not ideal.

I know and comply with all safety procedures and I know how to use the equipment in a safe and controlled manner. My experience has taught me how to work with the lighting to keep the shadows of the equipment off the set when filming. I also know how to keep maintenance up on the equipment and how to make simple adjustments when needed to keep it working at full capacity.

I have the experience needed to determine microphone placement to ensure the best sound quality is achieved at all times. This also includes the placement of the audio cables to prevent interference from the electrical cables.

I am available for an interview anytime and you can reach me by calling (111)-876-7111.
