CBS Radio
4907 Riverside Drive
Thomson, GA 30824

Dear Ms. Christy Herrington,

I am writing to apply for the position of Announcer with CBS Radio station.

I have everything it takes to be a radio announcer and I know that I would be perfect for this position. I have the personality to interact with the audience and keep them engaged so that when they turn on the radio, it is preset to your station. I also have the voice for radio with the ability to speak clearly and with plenty of pizzazz.

Having worked at a small broadcasting station in college, I have often been told that I have the qualities to announce professionally and it is something that I really enjoy. It is a unique feeling to be on air and interacting with callers is fun and interesting.

Working for this small station gave me experience dealing with broadcast equipment, an insight to what goes on behind the scene and all the work involved in putting on a good show for listeners. With this position, I learned how to follow daily music logs, make station announcements, introduce and interview guest speakers, read news flashes and so much more.

I also have the ability to learn any equipment that I am not already familiar with and I would love an opportunity to work for your station. I am sure that I can meet or exceed your expectations and I am always available to attend and participate in station events.

You can reach me by calling (222)-331-8575 and I hope to hear from you soon for an interview.

Sincerely,

Nancy Mcdonald
