Dear Ms. Pamela Gaither,
I would like to express my sincere interest in the Airport Executive position opening up within your company.
As soon as I saw the ad, I knew this was the right position for me. I have worked as an Assistant Executive for the past four years with Southwest Airlines, where I have earned a great reputation for managing and organizing daily operations.
Some of the responsibilities I held in this position include acting as a link between the FAA and airport in several areas that included sending in reports, doing inspections and by making sure all areas complied with policies.
I helped develop both long and short-term goals for the company, developed marketing plans and created WebPages for advertising. I also monitored expenses and prepared annual budgets to be submitted for approval.
I dealt with any complaints made from dissatisfied passengers and any other issues that arose in a professional and timely manner. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and I am working on my masters. I believe continuing my education is very important because things are always changing and I want to keep up with the times.
Due to my past experience, I have knowledge of Airport security regulations, procedures and protocols. I truly believe that I am the right person for this position and I believe after reviewing the attached resume, you will agree.
I am looking forward to meeting you in person to discuss the particulars of this position in more detail. Please call (123)-390-2960 to set up an interview.
