Dear Ms. Mimi Mcknight,
I am writing in response to the Airline Manager position with JetBlue Airways.
Having worked more than 5 years for Vision Airlines where I held a management position, I have an in-depth knowledge of airfield management. I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where things always change quickly and I have the ability to change with them.
As a manager, I was responsible for day-to-day operations that included supervising employees, creating schedules and assigning tasks. Answering phone calls and emails from customers, vendors and partners in business was also part of my job.
I sold tickets directly to customers and mailed tickets to those who ordered online. I used my excellent interpersonal skills to deal with disputes between workers and disgruntle customers. I also have the ability to lead and motivate staff while creating a friendly but productive work environment
I have an Associate degree in management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, which I feel helps to qualify me for this position. I also have knowledge of MS programs such as Word, Excel, Spreadsheets and Outlook. I have the ability to understand current trends associated with the transportation industry and to stay updated with all changes that occur.
I assisted in creating projects designed to encourage growth and improve the customer experience. I also performed analysis of operations, reported findings and helped create strategies to improve performance.
I am sure I can be a great asset to your company and I hope to meet with you in person soon. Please call (123)-542-7834 to arrange for an interview.
Sincerely,
Dorothea Clapp
