Dear Ms. Rebecca Whitesides,
In regards to your open Air Force Officer Logistics position within the National Defense Headquarters located in United States Air Forces Central, Shaw Air Force Base, I am enclosing an outline of my experience and a copy of my resume for consideration for the position.
The Air Force logistics officer is one of the most important positions in the military and it is one that I do not take lightly. This position covers every part of the organization from the transporting supplies to maintaining aircrafts. It takes a strong and confident person to hold this position and I know that I have the qualities needed to be the best person for the job.
Over the past few years, I have held the position of Junior Logistics officer with the Air Force, during which time I have acquired a lot of knowledge about what this job entails. I have hands on experience working with the development of current Logistics programs and I have helped to put these programs into practice.
I have assisted with analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs to see how effective they are. I have also helped in the design of training programs used by personnel. I then helped to create performance standards and monitor personnel performances to see how well they measure up.
I hold both business and administrative degrees and I strongly believe that a meeting between us would prove to be beneficial for both of us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering me for this position.
You can reach me at (111)-662-9692 anytime to discuss this position along with my training and experience in more detail.
